Rafter  F  Quarter Horses
~ Broodmares ~
Honey was my open barrel horse before we retired her to breeding.  Before barrel racing she ran on the track
and was AAA with earnings of over $8K, earning a ROM and 90 AQHA Pts.  I never kept track of her barrel
earnings, but she ran in the money almost every time I ran her and that was back before there were 4-d's.  She
has produced 7 foals of which all are now broke to ride and most are running barrels and winning.  Her foals  are
just as athletic and hard-working as she was in the arena.   Honey was laid to rest on June 27, 2008.  We will
miss her dearly.
Multiple Champion, $$$$Earner.  This mare earned in excess of $100,000.00 in barrel racing.  She was a top 10
Qualifier @ Oklahoma City Futurity, Gulf Coast Barrel Racing Open Champion (2X), CPRA finalist several years,
open rodeo money earner, and WPRA money earner at rodeo's including San Antonio, Houston & many others.  Flo
also had 3 Performance pts in AQHA for barrels.   Flo passed away on February 24, 2010 from breathing
complications.  We were so sad to lose her and her foal.  We are blessed to have a filly by her to carry on her lines.

Tez is a nice grand-daugher of Top Moon and also goes back to Shawne Bug and Beduino on her papers.  She is a
nice thick made mare that really throws the muscle to her colts.  Bred to Frenchmans Troubador for a 2012 foal.

Vegas was broke as a 2 year old.   While having so many colts to ride, and with her exceptional pedigree, we
decided to use her as a broodmare.  Bred to Frenchmans Troubador for a 2012 foal.  We are riding 2 of her foals
out of Jes and they are doing awesome.  Banker now belongs to Heather Knowlton and she will be seasoning him
for 5 yr old futurities!
Nice thick made mare,  built like a tank.  Jesse was broke and trained for barrels.    $$ earner and multiple
buckle winner.  We retired her to breeding due to having plenty of other colts to ride.  She is out of our ranch
stallion, Jes A Doc Bar King.  We have kept several of his fillies back as he is an excellent broodmare sire.  Jesse
was bred to Troubador for a 2012 foal, but coliced and lost her foal.  She will be re-bred in 2012.
Awesome made mare with an outstanding pedigree to boot!  We purchased Sugar from Chuck & Mary Crago, Belle
Fourche, South Dakota.  She is by Mary's great stallion Nonstop Bubblin, by Ima Thirteeth Moore (3/4 sister to
Moore Doc Dial <Word>, with LTE over $100K owned by Kelly Conrado).   Due to an injury Sugar sustained, she is
be broodmare sound only.  Bred to Jes A Doc Bar King for a 2012 foal.

Toasty is a really super little mare.  I rode this mare for about a  year before buying her.  She was like a  mini
freight train around the barrels!    This little mare could absolutely fly!  She ran 1-D times and was a $$ earner.
She was also on the track and had a speed index of 88 winning $5,134 and earning 30 pts.  Can't wait to start
having colts out of her.  Bred to Frenchmans Troubador for a 2012 foal.

Gladys was a super broodmare for us.  She had a SI of 79 and earned $852 on the track.  I regret that I did not
keep a filly by this mare.  We lost her in 2006 after foaling.

Dash And Tumble
Dash is the newest addition to our herd.  She has consistently won money in the 2D locally and still hasn't
perfected her pattern.  In Sept 2011 she won money at the Judd Little Barrel Bash with Heather Knowlton riding
her.  In just the first month we have owned her she has made $1500.00.  Our daughter, Kassidy is going to
continue running her until we decide to retire her to breeding.  We are not sure of Dash's lifetime earnings, her
former owners estimated at about $5000.  We will be keeping track of all money won, but for now we are
having fun with her!  Dash also has 1 AQHA Performance Pt in barrels and poles.
