| Hes Jes A Jet Setter, 2005 gelding out of Dream On Honey & Jes. Working our way up a little at a time. This colt is really starting to shine. He's got his pattern down and is consistent, now we are starting to add the speed. He's already earned money in the novice class. Running only a little over a second off the 1-d without pushing. Wait till he learns to run! Update...just won our novice class in Bastrop, July 24th, moving us up to the $500 novice and were only a second off the 1-d with a blurp at the 1st barrel. Update...ran in Bandera, Sept.18th, won 2nd in the $500 novice with a 16.978, the winning time in the class a 16.977 (how close was that?) The open 1-D time was a 16.468 and if I would have entered would have won 2nd in the 2-D. The arena was pretty mushy from all the rain and he 4-wheeled with no problems! Latest Update...finished 12th in the novice for the year. Had 3 no times my last 3 races from rider error and big feet! That's ok, I will do better next year, but we moved up every race and have started to clock 1d and 2d times. For a 5 yr old that's not too bad. We'll just keep getting better and better. Ran a 14.9 at Cibolo with the fastest time of the day a 14.0. |

I have lost track of this horse, but last I knew he was winning some $$ in WPRA rodeos in Wyoming and then was sold to someone in Colorado. Can't get them to return my calls. :( Really nice guy with a really big motor! |
