| We are a small breeding operation just south of San Antonio, Texas. Our goal is to raise quality horses for barrel racing. We sometimes have a trained barrel horse for sale, but mostly will have barrel racing prospects or started colts for sale. I have several broodmares and stand my own stud. I do breed outside mares occasionally when I have pen space and I also breed to outside stallions. I am open to trying new things all of the time. I am extremely happy with the crosses I have made the last few years with my cow bred stud, Jes A Doc Bar King, with my running mares. They are versatile horses with tons of power and speed to do the job! Most of my colts are by my stud; they are very mild mannered. They are friendly from day one, right in your hip pocket on day two, and chewing at my wallet on day three! That's the joy of raising horses. I always have prospects for sale; all of my horses are wormed and vaccinated on schedule. I am a one-woman operation around here, so I don't get all of the colts started right away and I ride what I can in a day. I have a 7 year old daughter that keeps me on my toes (who goes to school now every day). She is in 1st grade. My husband works in the family business and stays pretty busy with that. I am the horse person around here! Although my daughter Kassidy, has shown to be quite the little horse wrangler. She rides very well and can't go fast enough.
